You are absulutely right! I would never dream of using cylinder head
bolts over again. The reason is that the bolts stretch when they are
installed. This renders the bolt weak, and one is unable to get the
proper torque spec. when reusing. My comments referred ONLY to bolts
that are "use-only-once" for self-locking purposes. I figured one of you
would call me on this.
