I can't tell you what to do, but I advise not using the touch-up paint.
I once used the touch-up paint on my parents Volvo (sorry I had to use
the word) when someone keyed it and I was very hard to work with.
Touch-up paint is not for scratches, it's for chips. At least that is
what I've found. When the same thing happened to my mustang (right
after I had had it painted in the original Ford color) I brought it to a
paint expert who fixed it. You would never guess I'd ever been keyed.
Good luck!
