The oxygen light came on the dash of my '87 Quantum Syncro. I understand
this is triggered by mileage and does not indicate a fault. My car was
recently tuned and the numbers lead me to believe the oxygen sensor is OK.

I know that this has been covered before, but I did not save it. How do I
reset this thing? My wife does not want to get used to seeing a red light
on the dash.

There is a little button at the fire wall. It is recessed in black plastic.
On my Jetta, you had to remove the washer fluid tank to get at it. You can
just stick a pen or pencil in the recessed cacity and depress the button.
Hope this helps.
