guys, i just counted the pages.. there are 82 pages in all. (gulp!)
should we still put it online? if they are stored in compressed
pbm (1 bit/pixel) they wouldn't be too large per page. we can
also reduce them a tad.

is audi of america going to have a cow about this?

anyway, here is the table of contents under section "Diagnosis, Fault
Memory". if this is indeed identical to the Bentley, then i guess
people should go purchase the Bentley...

- A/C compressor
	- always run (in ECON and OFF)
	- does not run in AUTO, BI-LEV and DEF modes

- A/C control head
	- always dark
	- illumination cannot be regulated
	- memory loss

- A/C control head memory display
	- cannot be started
	- channels 1-22
	- channel 7, checking
	- channel 17, checking
	- channel 18, checking
	- checking

- A/C high pressure cut out switch
	- checking

- A/C refrigerant high pressure switch
	- checking

- A/C refrigerant low pressure switch
	- checking

- Climate control troubleshooting
	- general notes
	- requirements

- Coolant temperature sensor
	- checking

- Cooling performance
	- checking

- Digital climate control
	- quick check

- Electrical system voltage display
	- checking

- Errors in the area of climate control regulation
	- checking

- Faults affecting temperature regulation

- Fresh air blower
	- always run
	- does not run
	- speed cannot be regulated

- Idle speed increase
	- checking

- Interior temperature sensors
	- checking

- Kick down switch
	- checking

- Memory channel 1
	- errors displayed

- Outside temperature sensors
	- checking

- Overheat warning light and A/C compressor cut-out
	- checking

- Radiator cooling fan control system (this may be specific to just the V8)
	- checking

- RPM increase (compressor on)
	- checking

- Servo motor for temperature regulating flap
	- checking

- Temperature regulating flap
	- positions

- Vacuum units/flap positions
	- checking

i think we can probably leave out some of these though it's hard to
predict who has what problem. i think mostly the servo motor and
the temperature regulating flap are common culprits.
