Re: Stereo installation



Audi has the knack of being able to use the radio  when the ignition is 
off. I find this feature usefull, but Autoweek just blasted Audi for 
this. (What do they know...) That could be one possibility for the Direct 
battery lead, but the other, and most likely is for the station preset 
memories.  It needs the unswitched lead to retain the station info.
