Chad, so glad to know that I am not the only one with the problem. My
d--n oil light/buzzer goes off quite often. It seems to be a short somewhere
in the circuit for me. It curious that the buzzer can be 'shook' from buzzing
sometimes by hitting the brakes hard or rounding a sharp curve.
Additionally my water temp light will come on and stay on for long periods,
though it thankfully isn't accompanied by the 'buzz' that can drive you
crazy. I too question the reliabilty of the so called 'idiot lights', as
my gauges usually report that all is well under the hood. Perhaps it
could be something in the in-dash module. Best of luck and keep me posted on
any fixes you may come across. I'm sure some techie out there has fixed the
problems that Chad and I speak of. You can't understandd how helpful your
advice may be until you have experienced this buzzing for yourself.
Thanks!
Michael
