I haven't looked yet, but aren't they 6 or 8mm hex bolts like on a 
VW?

Some people are saying to snip them.  Great.  I get to pay $15 extra to
snip wires :(.

None that I've seen.  They are unpredictable when cold though - a 
couple of times I've hit the pedal and nothing happened.  Also they
can be scary when wet.  Probably best if you brake hard a lot.
Since I don't get to drive the Audi often, I'll probably go with 
semi-metallic or stock pads.
