I have used a big pair of cutters/pliers and found that they work fine.
If you must have a special tool, an auto parts store can provide you with
one at a moderate cost. The only difference between cutters and the tool
is that the tool has no blades, thus reducing the chance that you could
cut through the clamp while tightening it.
