I've dumped the code from a Hypertec chip from a TQC and compared it to
stock, and discovered that there was absolutely nothing done to the code
whatsoever. i.e., they left the EPROM untouched. What they did do was
give you a stiffer wastegate spping and divide down the boost signal to
trick the computer into thinking it had less boost so the fuel pump
wouldn't shut off under the high boost conditions. Total parts cost was
probably around 5 bucks and could easily be done by anbody with half a
brain. The moral: DO NOT BUY A CHIP FROM HYPERTECH UNLESS YOU ENJOY
GETTING RIPPED OFF.

Don't know what if anything Ned does to the code cuz I haven't had a
chance to dump one yet, but I'll betcha anything those two other
modifications to the computer have to do with dividing down the boost
signal.
