Just a friendly passing rant, to rave that, not only are Yugos acutally fiats,
but so are <Gasp!> Masers! (he shouted from the open driver's side window of
his trusty, reliable, Syncro, giving some Q-list relevance to his message...)
Speaking of Syncros (Say, that's *amazing*, so was I...), I just returned from
Aiken, SC. I arrived at the motel in Aiken 9 hrs 15 min after leaving my garage
outside Annapolis, MD; and on the trip back (also 571 miles) arrived at my
garage 9 hrs 03 min after leaving the motel. Said Syncro ran like a,
ummmmmm...(dare I say, Audi?) Top. My thanks, especially to the Gentleman in
a new Sable, who did the "front Door/Bear Bait" number for the 198 mile stretch
between Columbia, SC, to Fayeteville, NC that we covered in 2 hrs 28 minutes,
for the *many* folks who were in a *big* hurry, both days...
Well, since I don't have anything to complain about (WRT the Syncro, that is)
I guess I'll go away now...
