As far as price/performance goes, nothing beats the BF Goodrich Comp TA/3.
These are Z-rated uni-directional ultra high performance tires that
are also priced right.  Check out the Tire Rack ads on most US car
magazines and compare!

I have a set of BFG Comp TA/3s on my 4000 and have been very pleased
with them.
