Holy cow!! First of all, why the hub? The ******ONLY****** reason you 
would need a new one of those is if something reall bad happend, which 
you would CERTAINLY remember!!! The bearing cant really get bad enough to 
destroy the hub/knuckle. The bearing is not a dealer only part, I bought 
a FAG (I think) bearing for $19.00 and installed it myself. I was 
fortunate, I have the hydraulic presses etc at work and did it on a 
saturday morning. I also had to make a press plate to press in the 
bearing (from a large washer). There really is nothing to it. Be sure to 
find out WHY he wants to replace the hub. Chances are its a snow job.
