	Actually, I heard from a BFG engineer, that most of the cornering 
is done on the outside inch or two of the tire, so the big groove 
in the middle probably doesn't affect ultimate grip that much.  
They feel a little weird, but they actually work not bad.  My 
codriver (who once beat Buffum at an Autox) has them on his 
Toyota, and is rather pleased so far.  He is a freak when it comes 
to wet handling though.
