Yes, but given the choice btween the 944t and the g60 at the same used car
price....  Know where my money would go...  The corrado is a nice car, and my
background is racing vw's, but there is no doubt that the 944t is a better
car than the g60 or the vr6...  Built myself a 81 scirocco that was as stiff
as the corrado, put corrado brakes, trianglated stressbars, all the autotech
and Neuspeed toys, plus a 170hp 2 liter GMP motor (1900lb car) and had a 944t
lap me twice during a single race...  Found a 86 944t for 6800 in the paper
not 2 weeks ago, this presents an awesome argument in the secondary toy
department....   The refinement of the 944t is second to few, you screw up it
covers you, you want to speed it speeds you, and those brakes are
excellent....  Not to discount all of vw efforts, but the corrado was
fighting a tough battle until the vr6, in fact, vw sent back a whole lot of
the g60's to germany cuz they couldn't give them away here...  The press is
giving the corrado its due now, finally, but the 944t is a force to recon'
with and a excellent choice for a second toy...
