1990 200 Q Outside Temperature Sensor

Does anyone know the specs of the outside 
temperature sensors (NTC thermistors) on a 1990
Audi 200Q?  One of mine has changed resistance
and now causes the indicated temperature to be
approximately 12 degrees F low.  I think that 
they are approximately 1k at 25 degrees C, but
do not know the temperature coefficient.

I bought some yesterday (non Audi) and plan to
plot their resistance versus temperature and 
then plot the indicated temperature of the
module in the car versus resistance.  Hopefully
I can find a match.  Audi, by the way, wants
$92.65 for this thermistor - at least a 15 times
mark up in price.

Anyone have this problem or have a suggestion?
