Yoko AVS
My vote for the Yoko AVS Intermeds. It's been the summer driving wheels on
my 87 5000S since 91. They are now down to wear bars. As posted already.
Stick like super-glue to skin. Noisy. Not deeply grooved to dispel water
well. Probably better tires in the wet. But darn good in the dry. Gives
warning before letting go in extreme cornering situations.
When it was down to wear-bars last fall, dealer service guy mentioned the
tires were loud like snow tires. The wear bars really rumble.
Maybe I should drive them till tires are bald. Then rumble will go away. :-)
