I apologize  profusely for that last renegade post
It went off before I could type a thing. I must have
hit control ^ something or other

Personally I figured I would carry a decoy RD (some
elcheapo off brand for $10) and hand that over if I 
frequently traveled in VA or where ever they
outlawed them

as per fram filters, well I tried one once and then
cut it open and compared it to the Mann/Knecht
OEM type.  The oem weighed more to begin with
and the filter element was definitely bigger.  I'm 
sure the fram does an ok job, but the oem 
definitely has more safety margin - anyone try
the Canton/Mecca filter yet?
