*Audi Oil filters

         Bob,

           All I can say is, use the BOSCH Turbo Audi oil filter.  I have the q
uality JiffyLube oil filter in my car right now, and every time I start up my c
ar I hear a very loud clanging from the engine for a few minutes.  The Bosch oi
l filter keeps oil either in the filter, or close to those vital parts that so
much need lubrication at startup, such as the lifters.  Believe me, it's ver lo
ud!!!  So, do yourself a favor and just use the Bosch filter.  OK.

           BTW, I have been having a real bad problem with my 5kTQ idling too l
ow, and idle hunting.  It also has been running rough and sluggish.  I've check
ed the hoses for vaccuum leaks and can't seem to find any.  My car has been wel
l maintained for 85k miles.  Any suggestions?
