I don't know, but would assume that the police unit would be unaffected.  
Besides, one would have to hit the opener at precisely the right time to 
have it screw up the police radar.

With all of the discussion going on, what is the net wisdom on the so 
called "legal" radar jammers that are advertised in the back of all the 
car mags?
