Hmmm. Early bird gets the worm and all that rot. Reminds me of a car I almost 
bought last year. Saw the following listing in the Boston Globe:

        1991 Range Rover, 40K miles, good condition, asking $2100. Call (603)...

As soon as I saw the listing, I jumped in my car and headed north on 128. Called
the number, inquired about the condition, equipment etc. Then I asked about the 
price. 

        So the asking price is $2,100, right? (Checkbook in hand)

        Twenty one hundred? Wah? Does it say hundred in the paper? That should
        be twenty one *thousand*! Guess I'm going to get a lot of calls, huh!


Moral of the story is - gotta jump on the opportunity. I *would* have bought 
that Rangie for $2,100 in a short heartbeat (since the vehicle *is* worth $21K)

And we've all heard the story of the ex-wife selling the 911 for $75 and sending
all proceeds, as ordered, to the ex-husband, right?

Oh, well, back to combing the papers... :)
