For the record, I bought eight 12" x 12" pieces of gray linoleum floor tile
for less than $2.00 and it works just fine (even though it DOES clash a bit
with the color of two of my cars).  I keep them in a garbage bag in between
alignment jobs so the silicone lubricant doesn't pickup dirt and stuff...
