Well, just to put my $ 0.022 in, the Chevy V-6 4.3 liter block in my 1986
Caprice (with 284Kmi and timing CHAIN) is quieter idling and lower in pitch
(audible frequency) while revving than the 20v Audi 5 (with 61.5Kmi and
timing BELT), so that's not necessarily true!
