Thanks for the info, Scott. Actually, these guys claim that this problem
also exists on the *sedan* 5000 Quattros as well. I've certainly had
*excellent* results with Konis on other automobiles, so no problem there,
it's just that this is "The Wife's" wagon, and not really a race car, so
good ride and reasonable cost are/were consideration, hence the OEM HW as
first choice. I do plan to go with Konis in the front as well, tho' they
say OEM-F Koni-R is OK. I'll report back with pricing and performance
results.
