Subject: Any other parts to replace when putting in shocks in '86
Coupe GT
I'm about to replace the shocks. I'm going to put in new CV boots at
this time. Are there any other components I should be replacing which
are difficult to reach which would be easy to do at this time? With
an 8 1/2 year old car, I'd like to proactively deal with future
problems but of course, I don't want to waste $$$$. Thanks!
Glenn

As long as you are taking it apart, replacing the control arm bushings
will do a lot to tighten up the front end. Turn your steering wheel
to full lock either (both) ways and accellerate from a dead stop. Do
your CV joints clickety click?
