I've only kept one trophy: the little acrylic pyramid I recieved for a 7th
place finish in HS at the 1989 Nationals. In fact, my friend and one-time
co-driver (not to mention co-founder of the Ballast Brothers' Racing Team),
Jim Witkowski and I once left our trophies from an event with the waitress
in a restaurant we stopped at on the way home ... she seemed thrilled with
them and we were equally thrilled at not having to leave her a tip!
