Audi V8

I'm going to look at a 1990 Audi V8 later this week, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to be on the look out for.  It has either 34,000 or 84,000 miles on it (I tried to peek through the windshield at the lot), and the seller is asking about $16,000 for it.  Any opinions, comments, or warnings would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
