Satan is (an anacronym for umm...Security Analyst blah blah) it is a 
program that probes your internet system for possible entry points or 
security breaches. It was made by 2 guys from SGI, and made for the use 
for securing your system, although nothing stopping bad guys from using 
it on your system as well!
