FEELINGS ON STRUTS

Just went to mail order new strut insert for my 87' 5ktq, and was told that
the lead time on Koni sport struts would be 8-12 weeks and I can not wait
that long, autocross season starts soon.  I would love to hear some feed back
as to what some of you tuff guys are using and how you feel about them.  The
car has 6 mounth old red konis in the back.  Also if any body has the
procedure for replacing the insert while the car still has the struts in
would be appreciated, I know that we went over this a few weeks ago but I
have seemed to have misplaced it.  Thank for the input.
