Calendars
Hi, Y'all,
It would appear that most everyone wanting one of the calendars has
already contacted either me or Bob Houk.
Bob is acting as go-between for the Northeastern area (CT, NH, etc.)
Those who are on his list have been deleted from the list I have been
collecting.
It appears that the best cost we can get is something a bit under $150US
for shipping the calendars (in boxes of ten) from the Orient to the US.
This requires that the cost of the calendar be set at $15 each.
There are concentrations of the group showing up in various areas.
Southern CA and Denver come to mind. It would be appropriate for
someone in these areas to serve the go-between function there.
I am willing to serve this function for the area around, say DC, VA, WV,
PA, KY, OH. A few caveats, please, no credit (strictly CIF - cash in
fist), no personal deliveries, no transshipments, no *major*
inconveniences, no partial (less than 10 units) orders. I'm willing to
make a run to the DC/northern VA area with a load of calendars since I
have frequent family business there. Likewise, I'd run to eastern OH
or western PA with another load for that area. You could either plan
to meet me there or get to me here or have someone make a pick-up for
you (and perhaps some others?)
If you would like me to do this, please send me a check for $15 before
Friday, April 21. I will request as many complete boxes of calendars as I
have funds for on a first-come first-served basis. If I don't get an
exact multiple of ten requests, the extra requests will be disposed of
as you wish. (Return the check? Hold for more orders?) Please include
a note with your name, address, phone #, and e-mail address along with
your check.
