Glenn, I have been dabbling with import/export of cars through my 
fathers  German car dealership. I've been mostly working on exports 
rather than imports, however, you are correct in your assumption. It 
really is dependant on what year car you are bringing in and what make it 
is.  Federalization cost vary bigtime, but shipping costs are fairly 
straightforward. I have German contacts who can find cars for you, so let
