Matt,
When I was doing crash testing on the @#$&*^(better not say:-) )
it made quite a difference where the feet were placed. As a
matter of fact, teh technicians would sometimes tweak the
positions to increase the chances of passing on the femur loads.
Personally, I think that even a pass (2250lb on each femur!!!) is
pretty liberal. I would hate to have that kind of load on my
femurs, even if it was in an Audi.
