Autocheck - "disconnect"

Hi guys,
I thought I could live with this pre-mature "low fuel" buzzer/alarm in 
the auto check system.  But it is getting quite annonying.  It's even 
coming on at 1/2 to 1/4 tank.

Does anyone know whether I can "disconnect" the fuel sensing connection 
from the auto check system ?  Such as a couple of wire near the fuel tank 
or so ?

When the low hydraulic oil buzzer used to act up on my '84 5k then, I 
could disconnect the leads at the top of the hydraulic reserviour.  That 
did it.
