How can you tell it is a "non-turbo" head?  Does it look different? Casting
marks? If Some one used an early head then you have solid lifters, a
slightly smaller combustion chamber, valves that are considerably smaller
and oil/water galleys that don't match up unless welded properly. If your
head is newer (hydraulic lifters) then I agree with Scott. CR is most likely
the same and you have either 38 or 40mm intake valves and noi longer have
the sodium exh. valves.
