From what you describe it sounds like the headlights are different on the
'87 5KTQ Vs on the '87 5KTQW. The performance of the lights on my
'875KQTW is similar to that of the Euro H1/H4 setup on the '85 ur-Q,
which is excellent, discounting the added light from the ur-Q's H1s when
on hi-beam. The '87 5KTQW I have may be a special build, it came with the
15x7" Fuchs forged rally wheels, I don't know fer sure. The headlights
have HI/LOW beams on the outside and low-level Euro-style citylights
where the H1s would be on the H1/H4 setup on the ur-Q.
