Is this true on the 5k's or all q's in general? I really know nothing 
about parts/manufacturing procedures of the q, but I do know my '84 4kq 
is far more robust than my old roomates '86 4kq. His seemed  'cheaper'.  
And it was far better all around than my '91 90 20vq. That thing has 
unbeleivable body flex! I miss my old 4kq!  :(
