Yup! plastic/alum. rads were standard on audis, at least real audis. The 
early foxes and 100ls might have had copper.
They aren't that expenisive. I've been gettign them for $145-$150 and 
selling them for under $200. Thats a rad. for a standard 5000, and its 
OEM. BTW, one thing I hate to see is some customer who dumps in gobs of 
rad. sealant to fix a seeping seam. If they only knew what that crap does 
to the rest of the system! Expect worse cooling and less heat output 
afterwords, as the stuff restricts waterflow everywhere else. 

I always carry the stuff incase of a dire emergency, but I would never 
dump it in for convenience!
