Had this post a while back....  yes you can put higher wattage in the
"parkings" but caveat, that the beam pattern is about 35 vertical and no
horizontal.....  So, Yes if you run too high you will get the truckers and
others quite PO'd...  I tried the 20, 15 and 10watt halogens with a few
nitetime runs in MI, and found that the 5watt conversion was all that my
infromal survey could take.  with the pattern and the refector, it looks to
be the same brightness (not quite tho) as the low beam....  Hella makes a
conversion for the turn signals to the hologen.....  it comes with a 10w,
then a bosch reading lite bulb comes in 5w halogen....
