I'm kinda in the same boat, Dan. My wife wants a 4WD Tracker, I say no way!
We'll get a 4kSQ to replace the autobox 4kS. She says no, she wants
automatic. Well sorry for her, no Geo is going in my VW garage! But for you
I recommend getting her what she wants and either keeping your Jetta and
doing the cheap mods, or sell it and get yourself a Quattro...which I'm sure
you will want to mod also.

Just my thoughts.
