81 5cycl specs

I was flipping through the owners manual I picked up at the 'yard and
noticed that Canadian 5cycl got 10 more hp & 3 more ft. lb. torque earlier
than US models. Anyone know how this is accounted for?

So far the 81 4k 5+5 has performed beautifully. It is very smooth and quiet
on the freeway and a joy around town. I thought it would be a bit more
"peppy" than it is though. I keep thinking, "What a beast it would be with a
5Turbo!"
