I must say that in my opinion we would suffer a net loss if an Audi group 
was started under rec.autos.  KLA's usenet supplier blocks the "makers" 
subgroup anyway, so I wouldn't be able to receive the messages.  

If it would be useful to some, it probably wouldn't be that bad a thing to 
create the new usenet group ... as long as Dan Simoes continues to run this 
list as well.  I'd hate to see this group go away as a result.
