Re: 1991 200 Quattro Wagon FS

OK, here is the full report, since I know some of you are calling the
     dealer already:

The car is a dark blue green, and does not have any obvious major body
work. There are some scratches on the hood, and they are going to
repaint it. Other very minor scratches on the body, but overall it
     looks very good.

Interior is very good, a small scratch on the wood
trim, what look like new (original Quattro style) floormats,
underneath rugs looks fine. Small smudges on headliner, I'd just
shampoo it. Left rear leather seat is worn (not thru, just color) on
backrest - I suspect a child seat was installed there. Luggage area
cover and associated trim pieces are missing. The AM portion of the
radio doesn't work, and they have ordered a new antenna.

Tires are Goodyear Aquatred in front, TA's in rear. Tread OK.

Driving impression: Acceleration is smoother, but similar to my
modified 200. Steering and clutch forces are somewhat lighter than my
car, which makes it a little easier to drive, I suppose, but looses
a bit of the sense of tremendous solidity of my car. (I suppose and
tank is hard to drive, too.) ALB works just fine, thanks.

     Current Mid-Atlantic blue book prices:

                Retail Trade-In Loan
     Car 19050 16100 14500
     Low-Mileage 550 550 550

     Total 19600 16650 15050

I would presume you could get the car for around $18500, unless
they figured you could not live without it. It just arrived on
     their lot...

I decided it was not for me - not really much different than what I
have, for $5K or $6K more. If you are interested, drop me a line,
I would be glad to help get this very desirable model to a good home.

...and it only has 47,000 miles. Its Lago Blue (kind of a blue-green)
with platinum leather. No jump seats...

It is with a local Porsche-Audi dealer, and they are asking $19995,
which includes an Audi used car warranty: 12mo/12,000 miles bumper
to bumper, 24mo/24000 miles on the powertrain.
