I checked the same voltage on my V8 (the one that started the brushes
discussion) a few days ago. I saw 13.6-13.8 all the time. I couldn't get the
Battery symbol to appear unless I ran jsut about everything in the car
(including A/C, I couln't get the readout with the AC on) so I don't know what
the voltage dropped to. Anythin under about 12 and things do wierd stuff - ALL
the shift indicators on the dash would stay lit, and the outside air temp led
would flash.
In other words, yours sounds normal to me.
