Curious sight
Last night, on the Long Island Expressway westbound at about exit 36, I came
accross a beige-colored 5000S wagon with an *enormous* sign in the driver's
rear window:
MY NEXT CAR WILL _NOT_ BE AN AUDI
(NOT was in red, all other letters in blue; the sign filled the entire window)
Tags read NY "MR HESSE"
The car seemed in surprisingly good condition, however.
I must say that I am very happy with my '91 Coupe; we just took a trip to Maine,
where I had the opportunity to *blast* around on lots of **fun** gravel roads,
and I must say the quattro is an absolute *scream*! Being a pro-rally driver
would have to be simply one of the most Fun occupations ever!
(Oh, on the way home, some #%$@^& self-righteous Porsche driver decided that
80 MPH was the correct interstate speed limit for all; any attempt to pass this
weenie was met with some really dangerous driving as he attempted to block and
cut us off. The car was a late-80's silver Carrera, with NY plates;the weenie
driver looked to be in his late 20's.)
