Great Rack Replacement Help

Hi there,
   I just wanted to extend my thanks to the person who posted their
protocol for replacing the steering rack on Audis.  This protocol is
available on the quattro web site, and I would suggest it to anyone
undertaking that project.  My only addition would be that it helps a lot to
remove the passenger side tie rod before pulling the rack out of the car.
Everything is built to a very close tolerance, so it helps to have as much
room to work as possible.  By the way, rack replacement is definitely a two
person job.
