Jeff,

	The heat from the engine compartment cna bleed out the front 
after you stop, but also, the hood acts like a solar collector, and traps 
heat inside, where the temp sensors are.  That is why we go to Phoenix to 
test our HVAC systems - they can get up to 160-180 degrees inside after 
soaking in the sun for a few hours!  That seems to work the A/C unit 
pretty hard.  (Fancy that!)
