I think that the list works very well as it is.  My primary interest is 
in racing, but I also have to maintain the beast as well.  I don't have 
much interest in technical aspects of cars other than the 4K series, but 
sometimes I get some info that I can actually use, not to mention the 
lively discussion between other well-read listmembers.  I propose we keep 
things as they are, and you warm up the old "delete finger" if it gets 
too hot.  

The other matter that others are forgetting is that the list is readily 
available in digest form.  If I remember correctly, it only mails once a 
day.  

If that's still too much traffic, quit your job and sit by the keyboard 
all day.  I periodically check my mail while I'm at work, while my 
employer (you the taxpayer) thinks I'm working.  This works good as well.
