Plug-in performance meter

Not neccesarily (sp?) an Audi-post, but hey.. I recently got a catalog in
the mail, and in it was a 'Plug-in performance meter' for about $140. You
plug the device into your cigarette lighter socket (for power), and it has
built in sensors to take care of the rest. It will give you accurate (i
assume - It works independantly of the driver : you don't need to hit any
buttons to start timing, once you hit the gas, it senses this and goes!)
readings about 0-60mph times, and the 1/4 mile. It will also tell you lateral
force, and estimated HP based on the weight of your car.

Sounds cool - unless someone out there has experiance with this, and tells
me that it isn't very good or accurate, I think I will buy one. If I do, I'll
tell you what I think..
