'90 80 motor ?'s

I'm doing the TB on the '90 Audi 80 4cyl tonight.  Do the timing gears line up
same as on a 5 cyl?  Little dot on the flywheel also?  It's a 1.8L, I'd guess
that is the same motor they used in the old 4000 non-Quattro cars.  I may be
able to borrow the Bentley's for the mid 80's 4000's from a real close,
personnal friend of mine (you catch all that Cello?) does anyone know if the
timing belt proceedures for the 4000 4 cylinders would be the same as the 80 4
cylinders?  I haven't heard a peep about this car on the list, is it a real
bear to work on so eveyone who has one takes it to someone else to fix timing
problems?  The fact that I haven't heard anything back from my previous posts
about this car scares me - is there something I should know about this thing
before I agree to fool with it???
