I recently replaced the 205/60HR-15 Dunlop D60M2 with 195/60R-15 Pirelli P6s
on my 80 Quattro. While the D60s are not D40M2s, the P6 are CERTAINLY not
close to the P7 or PZero. The Dunlops were much better in the wet, and it
only snowed here once last winter - but it was slick. I've realized, save
up your money and buy the better tires. When you realize the small contact
patch is the only thing that makes the AWD/Torsen/suspension actually work
and prevent the introduction into the guardrails --- it's worth spending the
extra $$$.

Drive fast or stay right.
