I believe that the "MAX PSI" figure is related to the
load rating and not the burst point. Any healthy
tire should be able to withstand well in excess
of the "MAX PSI" figure without failure. Failure will
most likely result from *underinflation* and/or
overloading (weight), not overinflation.
